Our global reach partners include Keppel Shipyard Ltd, a member of one of the largest ship-repair and marine engineering companies in the world. This gives Cammell Laird access to Keppel’s large shipyard facilities and skilled personnel worldwide.
Our global reach service ranges from delivering urgent spares to project managing planned or emergency dry dockings. This can include sending a full project team to oversee the job from start to completion. Most recently Cammell Laird has demonstrated ‘global reach’ capability by supporting the UK MoD as prime contractor for RFA Bayleaf’s maintenance periods in Dubai and for her refit at Keppel Shipyard in Singapore.
For travel abroad, the Cammell Laird is 25 minutes by road from Liverpool International Airport and 40 minutes by road from Manchester International Airport.
For support in the UK, Cammell Laird is strategically placed for fast response times. There is excellent access to the road network. The company is located adjacent to the A41 dual carriageway trunk road, 2 miles from the M53 and the national motorway network. Bases on the Clyde or the South Coast can be reached within four to five hours by road.
