posted on October 6, 2018

BIRKENHEAD, UNITED KINGDOM – NOVEMBER 17: A worker stands on the bridge of the auxillary ship Fort George at the Cammell Laird shipyard on the Mersey on November 17, 2008 in Birkenhead, England. The ship building company closed in 2001 and went into receivership. However the former management of the company have rejuvenated the business and now have full order books with a predicted turnover of GBP 90 million. Until now the company has been trading as Northwestern Shiprepairers and Shipbuilders Ltd but from today will once again be trading under the historic Cammell Laird name.
