Fabrication
Primarily supporting our repair, refit and conversion business we maintain a significant steel and aluminium fabrication capacity in terms of highly skilled personnel and First Class facilities.
We also undertake bespoke fabrication and new-building projects for Port Infrastructure operators, land-based industrial and offshore clients.
Our Construction Hall is amongst the largest fabrication facilities in the UK and, due to its ability to slipway launch as well as conventionally load-out or transport via road, the size of module that can be produced is usually only governed by the transport medium.
The high standard of our workmanship is recognised by GL, DNV, BV and Lloyds Register fabrication approvals.
Engineering
Also primarily in support of our core businesses, we maintain our own Machining and Engineering departments underpinned by a number of local specialist companies.
We also undertake bespoke Engineering projects for other sectors such as the Petro-chemical and Energy Production industries.
Our highly skilled personnel specialise in the complete renewal or re-manufacturing of engineering components such as tail-shafts, rudder stocks, deck and propulsion machinery components such as hydraulic rams, cleating cylinders, hinges and pins.
